Because box gyms suck like a Dyson…and we don’t sell Dysons…
HE DIDN’T WANT A BOX GYM
Let’s start off with Mani’s email:

I didn’t know what to expect when I first arrived in The Forge. I have to say that I found a gym that was an absolutely perfect training experience for me. Everything is made to make you comfortable starting from the very first session. Well, that’s until you start working out. Then you get The Don treatment – a hawk eye for detail in exercise execution that is relentless, a wellspring of knowledge about the human body that is encyclopaedic, an unstoppable human force of motivation, and just the sheer joy of life the man imparts. It just makes your workouts go crazy.
And I have to say there is a machine for anything you need, the place is spotless, and the “staff” is amazing. I said “staff” as they treated me so well from day 1, it felt like I was in amongst friends. I actually looked forward to every single workout (yes, even though it was tough). For that, I would like to thank you Donatello. Your wife, your dad and yourself made me feel very welcome every day. It was the perfect pre-season workout for me. I learned so much and made so much progress in a ridiculously short time. It was a pleasure to meet you all. I will definitely keep in touch. Mani.

Look.
At the end of the day, it’s all about ACTION.
About getting things DONE.
You will NEVER get any results with approaches like these:
“I’ll think about it.”
“I wish I had the time.”
“I can’t afford it right now.”
“It’s not in my budget.”
“I’ll do it as soon as I finish this.”
Those phrases are just the perfect way to smother yourself to a death of blissful unawareness.
They are the promises of a better tomorrow that never happens.
They are the sweet lies that take everything you deserve away from you.
Mani Delaplace was here on holiday. He could have stayed home all day and partied all night.
Instead, he decided to take care of himself.
He didn’t want a box gym. He didn’t just want to lease equipment for an hour and leave none the wiser, thinking he had done a good job…and fooling himself in the process.
He wanted to learn how to do things properly.
He decided to invest in himself.
Because he realized that when you buy cheap, you get cheap.
So he came to us, wanting the best he could get.
And we gave him exactly that.
Because at The Forge, it is all about attention to detail, constant support and motivation, a well-thought out plan to get YOU from A to B, and a true love of the game.
This is not something we do on the side.
It is not our other job.
This is our passion.
The air we breathe.
The reason we get out of bed in the morning raring to go.
And this is what we gave Mani in his pre-season prep.
We got him fighting fit and in the best shape of his life, teaching him how to do things properly, avoiding time consuming mistakes, and giving him the results he wanted as fast as possible.
Because wasting time thinking you are moving forward when you are actually stuck in a rut is the epitome of self-delusion.
And we definitely don’t do that stuff.
We get things done.
And there’s more to get done when you get back Mani.
So get ready for it.
Thank you for letting us be instrumental in the start of your new journey.
The BodyForge salutes you.
